Playoffs For the Baltimore Ravens?

Coach John Harbaugh sees a bright future for his Ravens. They have a good chance in getting to the playoffs by improving their standings of being a wild card in the AFC playoff race. The Baltimore Ravens admit that they are in the hunt, yet they have their focus on the next few games that need to be won in order for them to actually get in the playoffs.

Even if the team had a sweet taste of victory, they are still improving their efforts to be a better team than the last. Coach Harbaugh is directing his team along a single way and that is to get in the playoffs which they have been trying to work on for the whole season. Any excitement they have felt due to the last victories that they experienced is tempered because they still have a lot of challenges to face in the future. Neverheless, even if they encounter defeat they are still willing to become a better and stronger team the next time they are out in the field.

The Baltimore Ravens believe that as a team they have the responsibility to do what they have to do and that is to improve themselves game after game. This is their way of looking back and giving credit to one another in the event of a victory. Further, the thing that brings that Ravens one victory after the other is each of the team members' killer instinct and the teamwork and trust they put on each other's ability.

Great football players in a good team will always have consistency and lessen their mistakes as the game progresses. With a defeat looming ahead, these players will always have a way of turning the tables and end up winning. This is what the Ravens have done for most of the time and have come a long way since their meager performance last year which led to the termination of longtime coach Brian Billick.

But because of the upset of 2007, the Ravens have finally come to their senses and are taking each step one at a time, facing challenges as they come team after team, week after week. Everyone is excited in the outcome of the season and if things go according to plan then the Ravens have a very good chance of getting into the plays.

One thing great about the Baltimore Ravens is that they know that they control their fate as to the games they are playing. The climate is not so much of a problem since they have declared in the past that they are building a team that can withstand winter with a strong defense strategy. And that is what they are concentrating on now, to get by the games on November and December so that they will have a greater chance to get into the plays in January. But that may be too far off because the Ravens have the power to surprise their fans, much more so their opponents.

Should You Travel Alone?

Hello, ladies and gentleman, There's no better feeling than setting a courageous goal for yourself in your life; jumping from an airplane with an open heart and an open mind.

Your young age years are your years of freedom, before mortgages, kids, and general grown-up responsibilities kick in. Too many people let fear of the unknown stop them from taking chances and forget that only with great risk comes great reward.

If you decide to take an adventure and ready to move a new city where you do not know anyone, there are some of the wonderful things you will discover along in your way:

You'll be introduced to new and exciting ways to have fun

Your friends in a new city will introduce you to divers local customs, adventures off the beat path and fresh perspectives on how to have fun. All things considered, it truly is. When you open your brain to the conceivable outcomes of moving and voyaging, you can go where you need. Move like the breeze.

Welcome change with open arms and live in whatever nation, city, town or neighborhood that suits your cadence and wants. You'll build up the social slip to stroll into a gathering alone and not flutter an eyelid

Exception for the distinctly outgoing individuals among us, a great many people feel a particular feeling of fear when they're welcome to go to a social event solo.

You stress you will not know anyone and that you'll feel awkward, adhered conversing with some weirdo. You'll wind up getting far excessively alcoholic, making it impossible to make up for the greater part of the cumbersomeness.

All things considered, fear not. When you move to another city, you wind up going to such huge numbers of gatherings alone that it will quit staging you at all and you'll turn into an expert at social connections.

Before you know it, you'll have the capacity to start the casual conversation, get a chuckle, ask the correct inquiries and men ably pardon yourself from discussions easily. Social tension will be a relic of days gone by. Maybe a standout amongst other takeaways from moving urban areas is the self-disclosure you'll have. The more you travel and live abroad, the more your needs will move and you will not have the capacity to help yet find out about yourself route.

The decision to put it all out there and assume liability for your own life is an unimaginably effective affair. Bringing your predetermination into your own hands enables you to rediscover your fantasies, wants and to shape the way before you.

You'll have the opportunity to reinvent yourself.

Some Benefits For Hiring Moving Companies

In the past few years it had been seen that people often reallocate from one place to another, either nationally or internationally. There are various reasons for that, for example people who change home often do so because the other house is more affordable and in better condition that this one or it is more closer to his new office, in the same way international shifting occurs if a person is offered a job in another country where he is given better salary and intensive and he chooses to go there, since there is a need for reallocation. This reallocation also occurs in businesses, offices and companies, which reallocate because their current location is not just good enough anymore or the expenditure at their present place is too high. This usually happens with the companies, however, all this apart; the bottom line is that nearly everyone reallocates at least once in his or her life and that movement they can make use of the services of moving companies rather than doing the work themselves. This article mentions some of the benefits of hiring a moving company.

The first and the largest advantage of hiring a company is that your work load is immensely reduced. At the time of moving or shifting there are loads of things that you need to take care of apart from packing the stuff and it so happens that due to shortage of time most of the things are not packaged properly or some are forgotten by the you as you try to hurry up the process as you get to do something else too, however, when you hire the moving company, then the professionals would be doing the job of packing up the stuff and they would do it extra carefully, as a result you would have ample free time to do something else.

The second advantage of moving companies is the loading and unloading phase, that is, if you are working by yourself then you have a lot to do, like find an appropriate vehicle on rent and then find some helping hand to help you load the stuff and then unload it, as even in homes there is a lot of stuff that you can not load by yourself. So if you hire a moving company, then this job is again done for you as the workers from the company would bring their own car and people to load the stuff first and then when it reach its destination, they would unload it for you too .

Thirdly, hiring a moving company saves you money as compared to reallocating by yourself, like when you have to move yourself, you have to hire helping hand, a driver for a vehicle and a vehicle and if some damage occurs then you have to pay for its repair too, while with the moving company you pay a lot less and moreover if something's of your is damaged then the company would pay for its repair too, hence, you end up saving money.

The fourth advantage is that hiring a moving company speeds up the process of relocation as they are professional and they can perform this work at much more speed as compared to you, since you end up relocating to a new place much sooner than expected.

Making a travel blog is not all that glamorous. During the first year, you will find it exhausting and rarely rewarding. It's just like starting any other business-it takes a lot of blood sweat and tears when you start. But the payoff is when you are able to experience diverse cultures and observe wide arrays of scenery that will surely take your breath away. Becoming a travel blogger requires a solid foundation in order for your blog to be a success. That means your content must be great … not good, not alright, "great". You need to be direct with the message that you are trying to convey, as well as branding yourself and the travel site.

Creating a travel blog requires informative and quality content in order to create qualified leads. Trying to generate a following from scratch is difficult, so you need to pay attention and observe other professional and effective travel sites. When making a travel blog, it is essential that you find a teacher or mentor that can guide you in this experience. Having a mentor will save you from the pitfalls, mistakes and the large amount of money you have to invest during the first years of your job as a travel blogger. Remember that if you are doing the things you love and not getting paid, it's a hobby. You have to look at this as your only source of income because it's your job. But, it's a pretty sweet job that allows you to travel the world and live the life you want to live.

The Most Exciting Torres Del Paine Trekking Tours From Puerto Natales

One can travel to the Torres Del Paine from a number of points such as Punta Arenas, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate, El Chalten and Puerto Natales. The last is the first choice for people who contemplate and exciting tour of the Torres Del Paine. It is the closest as well and one has to travel for about 3 hours to reach the park entrance. Once here you have options for various trekking tours such as the famous and most popular W circuit or the extended O circuit around the Park.

Most tourists arriving from places as far apart as Australia, New Zealand and Canada opt to explore the W circuit over several days. It is a challenging but blissful experience interspersed with walks along nature trails, kayaking and riding horses. Covering the entire ground on foot is a good idea but of the best Torres del Paine trekking tours experience is to enjoy kayaking for a half day at Glacier Gray starting at Refugio Gray and going on to the Gray Glacier's face. Another exciting option is to pick the kayaking trip from Rio Gray to the Rio Serrano. This kayaking tour can be as short as one day or if one is so inclined it is possible to spend days exploring the various treaties of the Rio Serrano and then arrive at Last Hope Sound. The Geike and Tyndall tribunals are quite touching, challenging and exhilarating.

Covering the W Circuit on foot is a good idea but if this is challenging then one of the best experiences of the Torres Del Paine can be on horseback. One can hire horses and go explore the Fjord Trail for three days that takes the route of the wetlands and the Paine Massif. Another option is the Glacier Ride to Glacier Dickson, camp at nights and have a wonderful time on horseback. Equally enticing is the Gauchos trail that takes you to the Glaciers across beautiful wooded areas, a trip to remember. If one wishes to mix luxury with horseback riding then there is the option to cover stretches on one day and the rest your sore body in a spa and bed down comfortably for the night in hotels.

An alternate way to go about exploring Torres Del Paine is to hire a mountain bike and explore the Carretas trail and pedal past the Laguna Azul, explore Milodon cave and traverse the Oggioni Pass.

One of the better and most favored ways to enjoy Torres Del Paine is on foot and to places less explored. Trekking in the Bader Valley is a different experience as the route takes one to the back of the Towers and one can view it from a different angle. This and the Forgotten Valleys trek should be on the short list of trekkers who wish to do more than just follow the beaten track.

The route is more or less the same. How one chooses to explore it makes it different and exciting.

Power Tools History

Since the ancient Egyptians began using a hand-powered lathe centuries ago, man has striven to make arduous building and assembling tasks easier, quicker, and more efficient through power tools. We've come a long way from those sand-covered turning machines, but the end goal is no different from our desert-lodging ancestors. Today, nearly every home in every industrialized country houses and uses power tools.

Even though the concept of the power tool has been around for a long time, it was not until the late 1800's when the first modern-era power tools became possible. The advent of electric motors made highly-efficient stationary and portable power tool technology a reality, and high-speed assembly lines made power tools both affordable and profitable.

The Bosch company was at the forefront of power tool technology in those early years. Founded in 1886 Germany by Robert Bosch, the company initially focused on automotive components with integrated electric parts, and was responsible for such developments as the first low-voltage magneto ignition. Before long, companies in other industrialized nations began developing the first electric power tools, and Bosch introduced its first power drill in 1932. Today, Bosch still engineers and manufactures automotive parts, and its power tool division has grown to include almost every household and assembly tool on the market – including power drills, belt sanders, circular saws, and more. As part of the company's growth, it has acquired other successful power tool manufacturers that started during the same early 20th century era.

In 1923, American inventor Raymond DeWalt introduced the world's first radial arm saw, a sliding circular saw that could make long cuts with accuracy. One year later, he founded the DeWalt power tool company in Baltimore, Maryland; another company that has grown substantively over the last 85 years. At the forefront of portable power tool technology, DeWalt's power tools are revered by carpenters and homeowners alike for their long-life, durable cordless battery-styled power drill, circular saws, and other power tools; and the company currently manufactures over 200 types of power tools worldwide.

Founded in 1915 in Japan, the Makita Corporation has also staked its reputation on cordless, battery-powered power tools – most notably, the hand-held drill, which Makita introduced in 1978. Nine years later, the company had a full arsenal of cordless , professional-grade power tools for contractors. Today, Makita manufactures over 350 different power tools, both portable and stationary, and the pronounced teal color emblazoned on all of their tools is often mimicked by others trying to capitalize on Makita's reliable name.

The early 20th century proved to be a hotbed of power tool advances, and many companies worked hard to develop profit-turning innovations that shifted their products off the shelves and into people's homes. While the term power tool traditionally admits conjures thoughts of electric drills and sanders, machines like the pipe threader and utility pump are also considered power tools. This is the area the Ridgid company focused on when it was founded in Elyria, Ohio, in 1923. Still a leader in the plumbing industry industry, Ridgid now has a power tool division that focuses exclusively on contemporary power tools and has released its own saws , drills, and even air tools.

AF Siebert founded the Milwaukee Electric Tool Company one year later in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Known for manufacturing heavy-duty power tools, Milwaukee is best know for the 'Sawzall,' one of the most widely-used reciprocating saws in the world. Like their power tool manufacturing competition, Milwaukee currently produces portable and stationary power tools like circular saws, drills, band saws, grinders and sanders – over 500 different models in all. Unlike their competition, many of Milwaukee's power tools are released in both 120 and 230 volt models, drawing the line between household and commercial / industrial power.

Best known for the Skilsaw they invented in 1924, the Skil power tool company evolved out of the Michel Electric Handsaw Company when they entered the power tool market. Fueled by the ingenious circular saw invention, the company elevated itself to the upper echelon of the small power tool industry with jig saws, grinders, sanders, and a whole slew of handheld, cordless power tools. In 1996, the Bosch company purchased Skil but still keeps its power tools on shelves worldwide as one of the most popular power tool lines on Earth.

The Delta company has changed hands several times since it was founded by Herbert Tautz in 1919 in his Milwaukee, Wisconsin garage. Tautz focused on small tools but when Delta was purchased by Rockwell in 1945, the company made a profitable shift to the stationary tools – like planers and bench sanders – it's renamed for today. Delta is not the only name this line has carried, however; Rockwell enveloped the company on takeover before selling it to Pentair, which re-introduced the Delta name before selling out to Black & Decker in 2004.

A veritable power tool power house, the Craftsman brand was coined by the Sears company in 1927. At first, the company mainly manufactured common hand tools like hammers and screwdrivers; but soon jumped on the power tool bandwagon and is now one of the top-selling producers of all power tools, both stationary and portable.

S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker founded the Black & Decker small machine shop in 1910 in Baltimore, Maryland; and the duo found their niche in the power tool industry by inventing the electric drill seven years later. The pistol-grip and trigger style drill became popular and is now a staple on construction sites and in houses alike. Realizing the profit potential of power tools, Black & Decker has grown and purchased several other popular power tools brands, including DeWalt, Porter Cable, Delta, and Kwikset.

As industrialized nations has become increasingly technology-driven, power tool production stands to increase as lightweight, powerful, and longer-lasting batteries try to match the power and reliability of corded power. Versatile contemporary models and thousands of accessories continue to make everything from woodworking to metal machining easier, more efficient, and more profitable for manufacturers, contractors, and homeowners alike. As power tools have become affordable for nearly everyone, only the hammer has adjusted an electric redesign destined to change the way we work forever.

Laughing Matters – Exploring The Connection Between Humor And Health

In the 1960s, Norman Cousins was diagnosed with a crippling and potentially fatal collagen disease. In response, Cousins undertook a statute that included plenty of vitamin C and positive emotions – including daily belly laughs that resulted from watching TV shows like The Three Stooges . To the surprise of many doctors, he made a full recovery, published a book about the experience (the best-selling Anatomy of an Illness as Perceived by the Patient: Reflections on Healing and Regeneration, 1979 ) and in the process provided a wellspring of support for the idea that laugh makes for great medicine.

Now, several decades later, we're still debating the question of whether humor can be a boon to our health and even to our physical fitness. As basic as humor is, researchers still have much to learn about it – as do some comedians. Regarding health benefits, says Michael Miller an associate professor of medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital (Baltimore), "The recommendation for a healthy heart may one day be to exercise, eat right and laugh a few times a day."

Miller was a researcher on a study reported at the American Heart Association's annual scientific sessions a few years back that linked laughter and an active sense of humor with heart health. Cardiologists at the medical center found that people with heart disease were 40% less likely to laugh at certain situations than subjects the same age without heart disease.

The study compared both humor and anger and hostility levels of 300 subjects, half of which had either suffered a heart attack or undergone bypass surgery, with the other half free of heart disease. The former were less likely to recognize humour or use it to get out of uncomfortable situations, the researchers found. They were also angrier and more hostile. Of course, some of that may be a reaction to their illness; you would not expect sick people to be as jolly as healthy people. But 40% is a big difference, more than you might attribute to that factor.

MORE FUNNY EVIDENCE

Another study provided further support for the idea of laughter as a beneficial mental and physical activity. UCLA researchers had 21 healthy kids put one hand in cold water while they watched funny videos. The result? The children who laughed were able to tolerate the pain of cold water longer than those who did not. Researchers also found that the laughing kids had lower levels of cortisol, a hormone that indicates stress.

While this study was small, and there was no control group, it still lends support to the healthiness of laughter. And given that we've seen no studies indicating any negative consequences of a snigger, chuckle or guffaw, it's hard to argue against the idea that a little bit of funny helps improve emotional and physical well-being.

Just as we incorporate other heart-healthy activities into our daily lives, we might do the same with laughter, suggest Miller. "The ability to laugh – either naturally or as a learned behavior – may have important implications in societies where heart disease remains the No.1 killer," he notes.

Humor will not replace exercise in the health equation, of course, but who would not sometimes prefer an episode of Friends to a grueling cardio session? And today, humor is taken more seriously as a health factor than it was taken in the past. Hundreds of academies belong to the International Society for Humor Studies.

Although the health benefits of laughter have yet to be proven scientifically, laughter may help us beat stress, which contributes to heart problems, among other maladies. We may, after all, need a daily dose of laughter along with our exercise and lean diets. So be sure to crack up at least a few times a day. It can not hurt, and it might very well help. No joke.

Stealth Adapted Virus induced Mental Illness Contributing to Inner City Turmoil

Most commentators blame the social upheaval in Baltimore and other US cities on poverty, unemployment and unwarranted police oppression. The author has offered an alternative and much more troubling explanation. It is that the social deterioration is primarily a manifestation of the growing epidemic of mental illness. Social workers and other healthcare providers are increasingly encountering individuals who have lost the capacity for reasonable thinking and constructive social engagement. Many are apathetic to the extent of neglecting self-care, yet irritable and prone to mindless outbursts of criminal and antisocial behaviors. Normal brain function is generally not restored even when such individuals are under the care of psychiatrists and / or provided ample social services.

The author has attributed the epidemic of mental illness to virus infections. The viruses causing the brain damage are derived from regular viruses that have lost components normally targeted by the immune system. This immune evasion mechanism is referred to as "stealth adaptation." Public health authorities disregarded the earlier reports of stealth adapted viruses when they were told that some had originated from monkeys used to produce polio vaccines. The government tried to suppress research relating to vaccine contamination and more pointedly to the likelihood that testing of contaminated experimental polio vaccines in Africa led to HIV, the AIDS virus.

The epidemic of stealth adapted virus infections is not confined to inner cities. Increasingly, Americans from all socioeconomic groups are experiencing less than optimal brain function. Illnesses such as the chronic fatigue syndrome and the increasing sensitivity to cell phones are clearly indicative of brain damage. Of special concern, the government's indifference to the existence of stealth adapted viruses has neglected children infected during pregnancy. These infections explain autism and childhood learning and behavioral disorders.

Yet there is some reason for optimism. Although stealth adaptable viruses are not normally targeted by the cellular immune system, they can be suppressed through the alternative cellular energy (ACE) pathway. This pathway is related to a kinetic quality of the body's fluids resulting from absorption of a newly described environmental force termed KELEA (kinetic energy limiting electrostatic attraction). Consuming KELEA activated water is considered the most effective means of enhancing the ACE pathway. The healthy brain by itself may also act as an effective antenna for KELEA. Published articles on these topics are available on the Internet as are some video presentations on YouTube. An all out effort is needed to pursue this research in both the therapeutic and preventive endeavors.
